Duration: 9 months
Pay Rate: $60-$65 hourly
Shift/hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
Location: Oakland, CA

Responsibilities:
EPIC experience
Revenue Cycle experience
Develop a comprehensive training program for novice and experienced audiences based on a prior training assessment and recommendations developed
Development of a training plan, the curriculum and logistics, and the project management courses and materials
Conduct course presentations as appropriate
Develop and/or update management plans

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
Applications training Experience
Classroom (Instructor Lead) Experience
Working knowledge of revenue cycle including: Insurance coverage, benefits and authorization requirements
Payer specific requirements (e.g. workers' compensation, managed care, commercial insurance, third party liability, Medicare, Medi-Cal ,and other government programs)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working in a union environment HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Experience working with automated mainframe, personal computer and business software applications HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as training and facilitation skills
Must have experience developing and maintaining budgets and operating plans
Skilled in team building, team participation, and achieving organizational success
Skilled in coaching, counseling, and developing others to achieve operational objectives
Excellent supervisory, problem solving and decision-making skills required

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
10 + years of healthcare experience is required
