Entry Level Assembly Manufacturing Engineer located near Boynton Beach, FL for a leading manufacturer of radio frequency connectors, assemblies, and components used within military, aerospace and telecommunication applications. This position is responsible to develop detailed assembly processes and procedures to increase yields and eliminate bottlenecks. To be considered - Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required with at least one (1) year of production experience or internship experience. Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer

  • Develop and document detailed assembly processes and procedures from drawings, BOM's, quality standards and operating procedures
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from engineering to production
  • Increase yields, eliminate rework and scrap through developed assembly processes
  • Reduce cycle times on current product
  • Work with Engineering to improve designs

Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical or Electrical degree is ideal)
  • Must have at least one (1) year of assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment (Related internships during school would apply)
  • Experience developing assembly processes is ideal
  • Knowledge of RF test methods is a plus
  • SolidWorks or CAD equivalent experience is desired
