job description

Responsible for managing the day to day operations of Georgia Eye Partners North Office. Provides administrative leadership to the practice. Ensures quality services are provided according to established policies and procedures. Responsible for working in collaboration with practice physician(s) to manage North Office templates and patient schedules. Responsible for ongoing operational evaluations. Partners with the Director of Human Resources and Director of Operations for employee performance evaluations, hiring, transfers, promotions and employee relations concerns. Assists Director of Operations with special projects. Responsible for communicating Practice initiatives, training, correspondence,, etc. to direct reports on behalf of the Director of Operations

Responsibilities:
??? Ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of administration of the Front Office
??? Manages Medical Record Custodians
??? Ensures that Medical Records processes and procedures run efficiently and accurately
??? Manages the Call Center department
??? Manages both internal and external patient and physician satisfaction and expectations
??? Administrative Supervisor of all clinical techs.
??? Direct contact for all administrative problems that arise on a daily and weekly basis
??? Works with Clinical Manager to complete and publish weekly Clinical Tech schedule
??? Approves payroll and PTO for Clinical Techs
??? Partners with Clinical Manager, Director of Operations and Director of Human Resources to complete and conduct 90 day as well as annual performance reviews and manage staff, train and develop staff.
??? Oversees the selection of equipment used at the North Office and ensures it is working properly
??? Orders office supplies and oversees the ordering of clinical supplies
??? Manages the North Office parking applications and parking invoice

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Clinic/Group Medical Practice office environment with exposure to communicable disease or body fluids. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be comfortable with significant continuous use of computers and close detail work.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:
??? High school Diploma, secondary education preferred.
??? Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible operations experience in a healthcare environment required
