job description

Responsible for monitoring shipping and receiving of all products throughout the warehouse while monitoring operations to ensure that all products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Assist the warehouse manager by overseeing all inbound and outbound shipments and ensuring all products are up to all quality control standards.
Efficiently perform daily cycle counts
Inspect all products by marking, tagging and notating any problems.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Must have the following experience for consideration:

Warehouse experience of food handling and lot separation
Familiar with FIFO -Batch Dates & Expiration Dates
Multitask and communicate efficiently
Basic math skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 10-12 hours consistently

Qualifications:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
