The Retail & Services User Experience team seeks a passionate, collaborative, and outgoing candidate to join our fast-paced group. As a Sr. UX Designer you will be responsible for executing visual designs for a variety of digital experiences used across a variety of devices. Our work consists of various tablet, desktop, and mobile projects that exist within our retail store locations across the US. Our end users are store employees. You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to efficiently and thoroughly create designs from start to finished development specifications for on and offshore development teams.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

  • Able to self-define tasks, deadlines, and next steps as needed
  • Be the lead designer for numerous fast paced projects
  • Able to work within a multi-person UX team
  • Familiar with translating wireframes to designs
  • Able to understand and translate business and technical requirements into intuitive designs
  • Able to design for different platforms and fully understand the nuances between all
  • Responsible for adhering to the Retail Visual Design Language, used to guide all design decisions for our employee-facing applications
  • Perform UX and design quality assurance against developed applications and log defects with development teams
  • Create graphical assets for development teams
  • Create design specifications for development teams
  • Create/Update pattern/style guides for the UX team

Collaboration is at the center of how we develop experiences and you will be able to hold conversations with, and present to, information architects, strategists, writers, developers, business analysts, business stakeholders, and project managers. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and change direction as needed.

  • 3+ years' experience designing for software and mobile applications
  • 1+ year using Sketch to create and deliver visual design artifacts
  • 5+ years using Photoshop to create and deliver visual design artifacts
  • Ability to translate wireframes into intuitive visual designs, while meeting pattern expectations and usability best practices
  • Must have portfolio of work, including specifications for development and pattern/style guides
  • Touch and mobile first experience
