responsibilities

As a Logistics & Customer Service Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Continuous support on daily operational issues and coaching of the team
  • Control of the 3PL with operation and daily communication with with mgr to ensure smooth operation of stock control / picking / loading / distribution
  • Contract management (Logistics Providers)
  • Compilation or updating of CS & Logistics processes
  • Participation in projects related to new 3PL providers and networks
  • Management of Distributors replenishment (delivery / backhauling – including credit memos for backhauling)
  • Control & Cost allocation of 3PL invoices
  • Weekly cost monitoring and end of month provision of accruals to Finance
  • Co-ordination of tests with factories for inbound pallet transportation, as well as planning of local endurance tests for new products & packing materials, suggestion of improvements & follow up with factories to implement changes
  • Communication & full description of requested co-packing activity
  • Leading & co-ordination & in all 4 quarterly warehouse stock counts
  • Supports implementation of the Product Superiority strategy in the Cluster
  • Support the quality culture deployment (training, KPIs animation, action plan, …)
  • Cluster Co manufacturing/Co packing Management

requirements

The position of Logistics & Customer Service Manager is just the right one for you if you possess the following skills:

  • 4+ years’ professional experience in food industry 
  • University or college degree
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language
  • Power user of MS Office applications & Experience with ERP systems
  • Experienced in management at a middle / senior level, in a rapidly changing environment & Capacity to manage large teams of workers/operators
  • Results & quality oriented
  • Effective team builder, have excellent communication and inter- personal skills
  • Forward/ strategic thinking
  • Advanced logistics skills / knowledge of transport constraints
  • Customer orientation, Negotiation skills
