Job Duties

 Establish Credit Card Business Risk and Control Management (BRCM) control framework including RCA, ICMP, thematic review etc. together with product team, 2LoDs and relevant counterparts in COO Office

Define and produce critical MIs for control monitoring and management’s consumption

Oversight of Operational control and integrity; including setting up the control policy and standards for Credit C35Card

Review audit recommendations and ensure recommendations are fully complied

Act as catalyst for staff development on Compliance and Operational Risk responsibilities

Act as the Credit Card DBIRO to undertake risk identification, reporting and management activities and specific information security vulnerabilities

Assess existing operation procedures and controls; with changes possibly resulting from economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and new product / practices / technology impacts

Assess existing controls and ensure an adequate framework is in place to ensure operational risks are managed

Provide advice and guidance to RBWM key stakeholders proactively to ensure potential issues are identified and addressed upfront; build close working relationship with second line of relationship with second line of defence



 University Degree (recognized by the state) or above

Minimum 8 years working experience in Banking or Financial Industry.

Operational Risk Management experience. Candidate with related working experience in Credit Card Industry will be prioritized.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and different levels within the organization

Have strong concept for banking risk control and management to review if apporopriate all service and operational risk management processes across RBWM.

Must be attentive to details of regulations to ensure appropriate operation action plans for updated laws & regulations being duly instituted and implemented

Strong managerial, communications, project management, organizational, lateral thinking, strategic planning, analytical, mathematical, decision-making, interpersonal and leadship skills.

Well organized, demonstrate initiative, and able to manage multiple projects.

Good time management skills and a positive desposition are needed to cope with the process of heavy workload and tight headcount control.

Fluent in English and Mandarin.
