Early Years Teacher
Teaching EAL support in classes and library until Summer 2019, and then taking on a classroom teaching role with either 4-5 or 5-6 years old.

School Overview: This is a private, local, English-medium Kindergarten and Primary School for Chinese families. The school has IBPYP candidate status and caters for kindergarten children aged 2 - 4 in a purpose-built and well-appointed Kindergarten facility. They will be opening a Primary school on a separate campus in August 2016, anticipated enrolment is 120 students K2 (age 5) and Grade 1 (age 6). The school is located in a suburb of Guangzhou in southern China, which is an excellent hub form which to explore Hong Kong, China and the South East Asia region.

Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. They must be native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. Singles and teaching couples preferred, the school can take up to two children within the age range 2 to 6 but parents must be aware that the social context of the student population is Chinese. Applicants must be flexible, willing to gain experience in the PYP and to contribute to its implementation in the school, open to collaborative and curriculum development.

Salary and Benefits: RMB18,000 to RMB25,000 per month, depending on prior experience; Housing allowance of RMB3200 (USD502) per month set at local rental rates. Annual flights; Settling in allowance of RMB5000 (USD786) on arrival; Free tuition for up to 2 children of expatriate teachers; 10% tax free completion bonus at contract end
