Role: Head of Residence Hall (Male)

Start date: August 2018

Location: Shanghai

Curriculum: UK & IB Curriculum

Experience: Previous related experience required (Boarding masters etc).

Sponsorship: Single applicants preferred unless more than one vacancy.

Salary: Based on experience - and very competitive.

Contract: 2 years renewable

As the title suggests you will be supporting students at their boarding house offering supervisory and some teaching support. In this role you will head up the boarding house and coordinate a number of other Residence hall teachers

You may or may not be a qualified teacher but should ideally have similar experience gained in either boarding schools perhaps running a boarding house, summer camps and training centres etc. You may also be a qualified teacher with related experience who can also offer specialisms in Music, Drama Art or PE.

Previous experience of working with Chinese students is also very much welcomed - as is exposure to EAL environments. You will need to be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life, willing to contribute to the continuing development of this great school.

Package: A good starting salary is offered depending on qualifications and experience; flights, furnished housing and medical cover included.
