1. General Position Summary: Supervise the general operation of the Affixing Section to maintain a clean and safe workplace. Manage and measure equipment performance, efficiency, quality and wastage to achieve the departmental goals. 2. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: ? Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment ? Supervise and assist in the make ready of machines in the affixing section ? Supervise operation of the affixing line to ensure they run efficiently ? Schedule crewing and make necessary adjustment to meet production need ? Communication with machines vendors and customers to ensure the process running smoothly ? Ensure that products are produced efficiently and meets customer specifications ? Responsible for the safety and training of subordinates and to assist where necessary ? Work with other department on the customers claims 3. General Requirement from the Management: 3.1Each employee will participant and fully comply with the company EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Policy. 3.2As an employee you will apply the customer concept to all activities of your job to ensure quality in foremost in your job. 3.3Training is an ongoing component of your job that is you as an individual will receive training and likewise it’ s your responsible to train yourself and others within the company. 3.4Continuous improvement techniques are to be applied whenever possible to your job and we must always consider and accept alternative approach to your job. 3.5Incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing a succession plan which will help free up himself / herself to take a different or higher position in the organization. 4. Job Scope: Work involves a high degree of knowledge of the machinery in the Affixing line . The incumbent will need to assist and train subordinates on the operations of the machinery and to educate subordinates on the quality of products produced. 5. Supervisory Responsibility: Responsible for direct reports and production performance in affixing departments. This responsibility includes employee evaluation, employee counseling and/or discipline, approving any absences or overtime, and making any recommendations for hiring, terminations, pay changes, job changes, and training. 6. Interpersonal Contacts: Has regular contact with others both inside and outside the organization. The most common internal contacts are with own department staff and own supervisor. The most frequent external contacts are with sales representatives and customers. Internal and external interactions involve information exchange, problem solving, negotiation, and training. Internal contacts frequently contain some discussion about confidential/sensitive matters. 7. Specific Job Skills: ? Good command of English (including listening, writing, speaking) required ? Engineering background in the past experience working ? Years of Production or maintenance management experience ? Mental ability to conduct on-going interpersonal interactions, analyze and solve problems ? Willing to train all members in the Section ? Prefer to have computer/network knowledge ? Prefer to have printing knowledge ? Strong data analytics and statistical process control ? Solid China based factory management skills ? Good Leadership Experience of Compliance ? Good English communication skills 8. Education and/or Experience: ? Colleague or equivalent or higher majoring of mechanical or electrical ? Minimum 6 years experience in the manufacturing plants ? Minimum 3 years of relevant supervision skills 9. Job Conditions: This position requires the incumbent to work in an area with machinery where there may be regular exposure to chemicals or solvents, noise from machinery. Other working conditions may include working long hours during peak periods and working weekends.
