Position Summary As the Senior Sales Manager for South China region, you will provide oversight responsibility in the assigned geography, including central and south regions, for our medical diagnostics business. You will be the driver behind creating the essential duties and infrastructure to manage this business. You will be responsible for budgeting and monitoring financial performance for the region. You will put forward a strategic vision for the business and lead the implementation of any efficiency improvement projects for the business. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: ?Sales, Marketing, and Operations Management 1、Build a high-performance, empowered sales and sales management team that consistently achieves its goals 2、Build strong Southern leadership to drive sales effectiveness and high performance. 3、Drive penetration at a regional level by further geographic segmentation. 4、oEnhance regional commercial excellence to deliver rapid business growth. 5、oPrepare to target clinical lab segment: Expand molecular business in clinical lab segment. 6、oOptimize regional dealership to significantly improve channel performance. ?Program Management and Strategic Vision 1、Provide oversight and management of multiple initiatives by establishing courses of action to ensure that work is completed efficiently in identifying issues, adjusting priorities, establishing management routines, tracking progress and leveraging resources. 2、Implement near and long term strategic and tactical plans for the business that will result in achievement of business goals while strengthening the organization. ?Financial Management 1、Achieve sales, manage operating expense targets 2、Understand and analyze business & finance data (e.g., volume trends, returns on investment, plan vs. actuals, volume and rate variance analysis) and the ability to understand the relationship among various data. 3、Prepare annual budgets, budget controls, and budget variances for the efficient management of the business. ?Staff Management 1、Set business and performance objectives for the team; establish a culture that promotes performance excellence. 2、Motivate teams to produce quality results while fostering a positive work environment. 3、Ensure strategies are in place to address key staff retention and development opportunities. 4、Enforce disciplines around ethical behavior and create a culture of accountability by developing high performers and managing out low performers ?Team Leadership 1、Articulate and share a vision with a management team, some of whom will not be direct reports. 2、Work effectively and collaboratively with Sales Operations, Technical Service, finance, legal, HR, and regulatory. 3、Effectively coordinate and lead the efforts of a multi-functional leadership team through good influencing tactics 4、Create a unified team spirit Qualifications: ?10 – 15+ years’ progressively responsible experience with a number of those years working in an operating capacity in China. ?Proven experience in growing business with demonstrated accomplishments in maintaining existing customer contracts and establishing new business opportunities increasing market share and growth. ?Excellent sales management and marketing skills ?Demonstrated strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, including solid understanding of relevant sales and marketing campaigns. ?Multi-national company experience in IVD industry with specific experience working for/or with US based companies. ?Proven experience managing customer/government relations. ?Experience in managing through building effective teams and managing organizational challenges. ?Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact at all levels within the company. ?Fluent in Mandarin and English Education: Bachelor degree and above.
