Responsibilities
Provide consultation and sound advice on company’s position with respect to key/complex contract management opportunities and/or risks including the validity and impact of claims and contract changes.
Develop strategies to ensure preservation of company entitlements through effective and timely application of contractual mechanisms.
Support the company Representative managing contract risk, managing claims, contract changes and disputes,
Perform and prepare entitlement and quantum analysis and, developing validity and strength of claims reports and claim negotiation mandates.
Engage and collaborate with internal and external legal advisors on claims management issues of material disputes.
Qualifications
Must haves :
- A minimum twelve (12) years of contract management work experience.
-Experience in claim evaluation for quantum entitlement and delay analysis
-Experience in drafting formal correspondence
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering can also considered in addition to Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent
Nice to haves:
- Dispute resolution experience
- Arbitration experience
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent
• Certificate in Project Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, an asset
