Responsibilities
In this Accounts Receivable Supervisor role in Mississauga, you will hold the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Manage and develop the AR team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and analyze AR aging reports, identifying and addressing overdue accounts.
- Implement and maintain effective AR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
- Work closely with the finance and sales teams to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly AR reports and analyses for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve payment issues and establish strong relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the AR department.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this Accounts Receivable Supervisor role in Mississauga, you will need the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 year of full cycle AR experience.
- Must have leadership experience managing at least 1 direct report.
- Experience with major ERP systems including MS Dynamics, SAP is a great asset.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- CCP certified or in progress is a great asset.
