Randstad recruitment is currently recruiting Administration Officer A03 for our Government client based in Cairns, short term contract with potential for extension.
Your new position
Key responsibilities
- Manage and direct incoming telephone calls and external and internal correspondence.
- Maintain office databases and data entry.
- Maintain electronic filing system.
- Provide administrative support using Microsoft Word, eDocs, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Organise meetings and travel as required.
- Prepare various forms and documents relating to purchasing, personnel and finance.
- Actively participate in the review and continual improvement of service standards to both internal and external customers.
Your Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience in the following to be successful:
- Experience within state or federal government.
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
- Follows instructions
- Customer Service skills
- Remain focused when under pressure
- Agile and resilient
