Randstad currently have the opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a friendly and supportive finance team based in Mt Waverley. Operating at a national level, our client is an established, privately owned business who truly values their business culture and employee satisfaction.

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who has a strong understanding of the end to end processes of Accounts Payable, as well as having had some exposure to the wider areas of transactional accounting.

You will have great communication skills and enjoy working with and talking to other people. You will have an eye for detail and strong Microsoft skills. Although experience using SAP is advantageous, when it comes to learning new systems, our client is happy to train the right person.

Working along side our Senior Accounts Payable Officer, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • End to end Accounts Payable processing
  • Managing relationships with suppliers, including communicating with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payment
  • Matching, batching and coding
  • Following up outstanding purchase orders with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Statement reconciliations
  • General administration and accounts duties as required
