This is a great opportunity to further your banking career as an AML and compliance administrator. You will be working for one of the Big 4 banks in their AML team. This opportunity will provide you with exposure to various aspects of the banking sector, as you take ownership of the compliance process and maintain database integrity. Alongside your relevant experience, your exceptional eye for detail and proactive work ethic will see you succeed in this role.

Based in the heart of Parramatta, you will be transaction monitoring on a daily basis, ultimately identifying monetary laundering and effectively handling all required administration and protocols.

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a passion for banking & finance and want to grow their career within the industry.

As an AML and compliance administrator your key responsibilities are:

  • Identify and act on monetary laundering (AML) or terrorism fraud (CTF) activity
  • Utilise your AML and KYC knowledge to accurately monitor transactions
  • Maintain the database integrity
  • Collaborate effectively with other stakeholders to resolve issues and drive process improvements
  • Handle all sensitive information with professionalism
  • Strictly adhere to relevant departmental and legislative policies and procedures
  • Meet individual performance, behavioural and value based targets

Your skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in AML or KYC is necessary
  • Experience within the banking and financial services sector is necessary
  • High attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Demonstrate consistent professionalism
  • Strong work ethic
