Exciting brand new opportunity as an Administration Assistant to work within an outstanding international organisation with over 100 years of success! Our client who primarily support the Naval Defence and Marine industries, pride themselves on being the best and are committed to providing complete solutions to customer needs from analysis of initial customer requirements right through to commissioning and through life support.

  • Fulltime- Permanent
  • Salary + Superannuation
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7.30am – 3.30pm
  • 2 weeks off over the Christmas period

JOB TITLE

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

THE POSITION

  • Answering of all incoming calls and dealing with queries
  • Mail duties
  • Making appointments as required by Management and Senior Engineers
  • Ordering and maintaining of office supplies
  • General duties as required by the Administration Manager
  • On-going development of business processes
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Responsible for aspects of I.T. and office inventory

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • High attention to detail and accuracy is mandatory
  • Ability to think outside of the box, take initiative and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a typing speed of 50wpm or more/ High Key Strokes (tested)
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel and Word (tested)
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable
  • Must have a great sense of humor and a great attitude
  • Fantastic verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, efficient and willingness to strive for personal best
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and is basically a unicorn
  • Ability to complete tasks within timelines and feel comfortable with responsibility
  • The ability to work within a close knit team is essential
