Exciting Administrative roles available across local councils in West Victoria!

Randstad are currently working with a number of local councils across West Victoria. These temporary assignments will allow you to broaden your administration experience and contribute to the impactful work of local councils.

You will be a strong, experienced administrative and secretarial candidate, interested in a variety of roles, ranging from Administration Officers, Personal assistants, Records Officers, Receptionists and other secretarial based roles.

Your typical duties will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the local council;
  • Attending to phone queries/complaint handling;
  • Diary management, travel arrangements and ad hoc team administration;
  • Preparing written correspondence and sorting mail;
  • Record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes;
  • Data entry.

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Previous work experience within government or local council - only applicants with this experience will be considered for this position;
  • Administration experience;
  • Great communication skills- both verbal and written;
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills;
  • Experience with TRIM and local government systems highly desired
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
