About the Role:

The Assistant Manager will be supplying executive support to the Operations Manager of a team within a government organisation. The role requires experience within a government capacity, particularly within ministerial corresponence. The role will also entail some project work and team administration on an executive level, involving key stakeholder engagement both internally and externally. Communication skills will be key across all platforms, with a strong emphasis on executive report and brief writing, as well as the ability to negotiate and problem solve.

About you:

  • Previous experience within executive support
  • High level of communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, including the ability to negotiate and problem solve where necessary
  • Ability to collaborate within a supportive team environment
  • Demonstrated experience across executive level correspondence, reports and brief writing
  • Experience within the public sector ideal
  • Experience within project work, including maintaining budget requirements ideal
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including the ability to produce a variety of online communications material
