Outstanding opportunity to join Carrier Australia the Global leader in High Technology Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration solutions.

Located in Canberra ACT the Branch Manager reports to the State Services Manager NSW/ACT overseeing day to day HVAC service operations. This is a new opportunity to complement existing structure and further growth plans within Carriers business.

The Branch Manager is responsible for HVAC Field Operations, across the Canberra Service branch to ensure:

  • Visitation of Key Accounts at regular intervals and build strong lasting client relationships
  • Motivation of staff and maintenance of team building concepts.
  • 100% Compliance with contracted Preventative Maintenance obligations and repair methods.
  • Workforce planning principles maximising field performance
  • Drive strategies for growth as outlined by Service Manager
  • Delivery of company standards in relation to presentation, productivity and profitability.
  • Effective implementation of strategic requirements as determined by the Service Manager.


  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with identified Key Accounts to further increase opportunities.
  • Maintain an environment within your team which values everyone’s input and gains commitment from all stakeholders to achieve.
  • Drive service field standards through audit feedback and through positive reinforcement Ensure EHS compliance in line with company policies
  • Share feedback to Service Manager for succession planning and staff development planning
  • Develop and implement growth strategies including but not confined to contract growth and regional development within territory.
  • Manage regions Service Plan in sync with National Plan however state Based requirements must be reflected.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years Experience in HVAC field or an affiliated mechanical services industry.
  • Managed technical teams previously in HVAC or similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC & related industries.
  • Highly analytical and able to bridge workforce plan and service delivery regardless of conflicting priorities.
  • Strong Leadership and people management experience
