A Digital Business Analyst is required for an initial 2 month contract until June 30th with the view to extend! This is a a great opportunity to work in a tight knight, collaborative environment.

The Digital BA will asssist the Digital Product Lead in the delivery of a program steam made up of a number of small to medium sized digitally focused projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the project and product management functions by contributing to planning activities
  • Identifying key stakeholders and subject matter experts within the organisation to engage with on the project;
  • Working in conjunction with the Project Manager to capture requirements, define policies and business rules and process model / flows;
  • Documenting detailed business requirements, user pathways, business rules and use cases/stories using industry modelling and standards
  • Eliciting requirements using various methods, including but not limited to interviews, document review and requirements workshops
  • In consultation with stakeholders develop Business Impact Assessments associated with proposed business changes
  • Develop and document new procedures associated with proposed business changes;
  • Identify issues and risks, ensuring that they are appropriately captured raised and actioned;
  • Liaising with business, technical IT /digital teams and vendors to facilitate the timely resolution of issues as they arise
  • Working collaboratively with other team members within the program team

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an enterprise wide, technology enabled transformation program
  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst (including digital experience)
  • Experience working with project development tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, specifically in a customer centric, digital environment
  • Experience using the Atlassian toolkit, i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc
  • Experience working with enterprise level content management systems
  • Proven experience in using business analysis techniques including: elicitation, documentation, interviewing techniques, conducting workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, traceability and business scenarios
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyze complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats
