This is a fantastic opportunity for a business improvement business analyst to have an impact on maintenance operations within a rail organisation.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring that railway maintenance actions are to be delivered in a reduced time frame, hence making the process more efficient by grouping together similar maintenance actions along a rail corridor. You will also be responsible for consulting with various stakeholders - from blue collar supervisors that are responsible for carrying out the work at various depots to co-ordinators, planning and program managers who distribute maintenance actions.
To be successful in the role you will ideally need to have previous experience from the aviation/oil and gas/rail/utilities or other engineering based industries and after some initial guidance will be required to work autonomously. You will also need to be comfortable in being able to understand what goes into an overall work maintenance package. Reporting into the program manager you will also need to also be able to model maintenance data, which in turn you will use to plan maintenance activity in the most effective and efficient way.
Based out of Central CBD Sydney with regular metropolitan site visits - this role will be paying $650 per day + super for the right person.
