About the Role

The Business Coordination and Assurance Manager is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and monitoring of a range of business and operational systems, processes and administrative functions to support the timely delivery and management of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a strategic business focus for the branch by leading the development, formulation and implementation of policies and programs for project management
  • Monitor and oversee the implementation and management of financial management systems, and corporate records systems at a branch level
  • Lead, coordinate, consolidate and finalise reporting activities across the branch including the monitoring of performance reporting, project assurance and funding approvals along with Work Health and Safety incident reports
  • Facilitate a high performance culture within the branch, including as part of the branch leadership team, by developing key performance indicators and monitoring business and financial performance
  • Deliver high level customer service to key stakeholders to contribute to the success of the branch
  • Develop, document, implement, monitor and maintain procedures, tools and systems and verification of compliance, continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Work in partnership with senior managers of the branch to coordinate and support resource allocation and budget across business units and assist in the development of strategies for recruitment, retention and staff development
  • Lead and promote business objectives by ensuring branch business information is kept current on the branch intranet and working in partnership with managers to keep them abreast of new contract, corporate and WHS policies and procedures, as well as providing contract engagement documentation

Requirements

  • High level skills and experience in business management and business improvement processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with information management systems
  • Demonstrated experience in business planning and evaluating, analysing and reporting on business and project performance in a large complex business environment\Highly developed interpersonal and communication customer service, negotiation, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with management, staff and external clients
