Our Client is a leading global business with a fantastic reputation within the market and a renowned product offering.

Due to the release of a new range of products, the company is seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to focus on finding new distributors.

You will work closely with both distributors as well as end users to create the demand and push through the distribution network.

Role of Business Development Manager

  • You will be required to build new relationships across many sectors and grow the Australian market
  • New business sales
  • Presentation of new products
  • Hit Sales targets
  • Working autonomously and reporting directly to the State Sales Manager
  • This will be a client facing role

To be successful in this role

  • Experience in selling through distributors
  • Success in this role will come from leveraging from your background in a cold calling/ new business sales role previously
  • Ideally experience within building materials or similar
  • Great communication skills
  • You will also have a lot of drive and ambition to be successful
  • Self-motivated & work well unsupervised
  • Ability to work well under pressure and the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
  • High levels of integrity and honesty with a commitment to exceptional levels of customer service and support
