The Role

We are looking for a Business Developement Manager to be based in Melbourne covering Australia and reporting to the Sales Manager. The emphasis of this position is to drive business growth for a unique range of products across various Industrial channels. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maximise volume, profit and share across a defined territory
  • Service your territory at a required frequency
  • Maintain existing and foster new business relationships with current business partners
  • Improve distribution points of current range
  • Educate customers on the features, benefits and consumer needs of our products
  • Provide rational business solutions to mutually grow both retailer and company profit

The Desired Profile

In order to succeed, you need at least 3 years sales experience within the electrical/ industrial automation space. You are a high performer and connect well to any business. Due to your strong personal and professional skills you build strong relations, and a strong impact as a trusted and effective sales person. You are a strong communicator who develops good working relationships with internal and external customers. You enjoy working with a large variety of challenges from an industry perspective and within an increasingly competitive organization. You possess a proactive working approach, a high degree of self-motivation and are a strong team player. The complexity of the job requires that you can operate independently whilst maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Although your role is local, you enjoy being part of a truly global organization and have the ambition for developing your career.
