My client is the leading business supplies company in Australia and they are on the lookout for a Business Development Sales Consultant to join their successful team!

In this role you will be responsible for the acquisition of new business by gaining insight into prospect needs and presenting a customised solution. You will meet with qualified new prospects to identify needs and opportunities for process improvement. You will then deliver tailored solutions specific to business needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Qualify key decision makers within target businesses
  • Meetings with prospects to identify sales opportunities
  • Presenting solutions to businesses decision makers
  • Upselling and cross selling
  • Working with other team members and cross functional stakeholders to maximise sales
  • Meeting set goals, including KPI’s and Customer satisfaction scores
  • Deliver a first class service to ensure repeat business and referrals

To qualify for this role you must have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A consultative sale approach
  • Advances presentation skills
  • A hunger and passion for sales and achieving results
  • The ability to develop customer relationships
  • Business degree (desirable)
