Client Details

Our client is a market leader design and manufacturing firm with an outstanding reputation both Nationally and locally in WA. They are currently growing their team and have an exciting opening for a Buyer to join their Perth division.


Duties for this role will include, but not limited to;

  • Releasing RFQ and tender documentation to market
  • Purchase order raising, management and receipting of landed orders
  • Maintain constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are in route
  • Expediting orders and liaising with Project Managers to relay project milestones
  • Continuously monitor and expedite vendors on the progress of orders and internal engineering deliverables and provide feedback to the Project Managers and Project Schedulers
  • Notify the project team in a timely manner if a critical delivery is going to be late
  • Work with vendors and the Project team to resolve invoicing issues that could delay critical shipments
  • Ensure vendors utilise and maintain adequate progress tracking systems
  • Deliver all purchase orders to vendors in a timely fashion
  • Manage the technical specifications, bill of materials and equipment to meet project requirements

  • High level of commercial understanding and knowledge surrounding tender packages
  • Experience within a similar role and industry
