My client is a growing childcare provider who provides the highest quality education in a safe, fun and stimulating environment for children. Educators implement innovative educational programs for all ages attending the centre that are specifically designed to cater for the individual needs of each child.

About your role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic Centre Director to help shape this wonderful 65 place centre and lead this wonderful team of educators and teachers. This position is suited for a motivated individual wanting a challenge, with significant experience within the Early Childhood field that understands the role very well.

Included in your role would be:

  • Day-to-day management including enrolments and parent liaison
  • Lead, support and motivate a large team of educators in providing the highest quality service
  • Centre curriculum, staff training and policy writing
  • Work closely with other staff in the on the floor to give the children the best possible support and love
  • Creating challenging and interesting educational experiences for the children

Essential Criteria:

  • You must have previous experience as a Childcare Centre Director/ Nominated Supervisor in a medium-large service.
  • Applicants must hold an Early Childhood Degree or Diploma in Children's Services
  • New Working with Children Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to be proactive in implementing curriculum
  • Bright, friendly and energetic
  • Dedicated to developing children
  • Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Knowledge of Qikkids and CCMS administration.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams
  • Highly developed time management skills
  • Able to travel to all other centres in Sydney if required
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to continually learn and add value to our childcare centres
  • To be able to work alongside Directors and to report to the Area Manager
