Through significant growth and acquisition of new business a major life insurer is looking for a return to work professional to join their high performing Claims division. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to join a claims department that is constantly recognised for its achievements. Through these achievements they truly recognise the contribution the Claims Assessors play in their success.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Team Manager you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of Life Insurance TPD (Total Permanent Disability) and GSC (Group Salary Continuance) claims. You will achieve this through investigations, strategies and planning, including ongoing interaction with members, medical professionals and service providers.

To be successful in your new role:

  • 2 years + experience in Workers Compensation, CTP or Allied Health
  • A further background in Rehabilitation / Mental Health is desirable
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience assessing a portfolio of claims.
