Due to a promotion, we are looking for someone, who can take ownership for excellence in originating new business opportunities within existing key client relationships across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with Client Relationship Management, Product and Innovation experts, you will deliver and develop a variety of approaches to succeed in meeting annual “wins” across multiple card products. Acting as a consultative resource you will be a subject matter expert in commercial cards and assist in identifying and finalizing account development opportunities, both virtual and physical. You will enjoy close coordination and communication with the Service, Relationship Management and Sales teams, as well as with Banking and Solution Sales. 

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Building a sales pipeline of cross-sell opportunities within existing cards portfolio
  • Understanding Client’s current payment processes, identifying cardable flows, and providing Corporates with compelling arguments to implement change
  • Deal replication, especially within industry verticals
  • Supporting the Service, Account Management and Sales teams by increasing industry knowledge and ability to use consultative selling approaches
  • Work closely with Product organization to develop product positioning and sales materials
  • Pricing negotiations with Clients ensuring realistic returns for Citi whilst remaining competitive
  • Influence Clients to implement quickly to expedite revenue realization
  • Participate in customer roundtables and industry conferences.
  • Interface with various levels of decision maker within client base

A self-starter, you will be a commercial cards expert with a track record of innovation inapproach and be digitally savvy and curious, with strong commercial acumen and ability to multi task and manage in a matrix environment. You will excel when working strategically and collaboratively to achieve your agreed outcomes and will be able to handle ambiguity with a calm, flexible and logical approach, influencing and persuading as necessary.
