The role

The Commercial Litigation team are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Assistant to come and provide support and prioritise three operators whilst managing their system and processes accordingly. This team shares a wealth of knowledge and experience across the litigation space. They are hard working and pride themselves on being transparent with their clients and loves a challenge and having a laugh at the same time. Our client is currently looking an experienced legal assistant/personal assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate for this role will be someone who is able to use their initiative, is proactive, and is capable and motivated to work autonomously without much supervision. Previous experience in supporting more than one operator in corporate and general commercial law/litigation matters would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

-Filing and file management

-Processing letters and documents

-Opening, maintaining and closing files

-Preparing briefs and court documentation

-Audio typing (Digital and Tapes) and copy typing

-Liaising with clients and staff on day to day matters

-Preparing legal documents correspondence, emails, memos and letters

-Personal assistant tasks (diary management, answering phones and recording messages)

-Other ad hoc administration/office duties as required

Is this YOU?

The successful individual must have an understanding of corporate and commercial litigation and have had experience within a similar role. You will be motivated to play a crucial role in providing support to the team. You will be able to prioritise daily tasks and demonstrate working well under pressure. You will have a strong work ethic and exceptional written and verbal communication skills whilst also being agile in a busy working environment.

You will be passionate, enthusiastic and have an eye for detail whilst being able to demonstrate your initiative and ability to work autonomously, with a drive to provide exceptional customer experience. It is essential that you have strong organisational and file management skills. Experience with Netdocs and Action Step will be highly regarded.
