My client is a family owned, well established construction company, founded over 50 years ago mainly focusing on new build and fit out projects. Being an established company, most of their work comes from repeat customers, leaving little need to tender.

They are based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and projects come from a variety of sectors including:

  • Retail
  • Education
  • Government
  • Commercial

Due to the projects they are due to undertake in 2019, they are looking for a permanent Contract Administrator with a minimum of 5 years experience across the above sectors, to join them in January. A competitive remuneration package of $100k - $130k is on offer depending on experience.

The successful candidates’ duties will be:

  • Procure, package and negotiate sub-contracts through to final account
  • Assisting in Value Management/Engineering
  • Undertaking job costing and setup
  • Budgeting and cost control
  • Vetting and letting of contracts
  • Processing RFI’s & EOT’s
  • Liaison with Clients, Architects, Engineers & Regulatory Authorities
