The Client -

A well known and respected corporation located West of the city is seeking a corporate receptionist for an immediate start. My client has been servicing the community for over 60 years and a replacement role has become available with them.

The role -

As the receptionist you will provide outstanding personalised customer service to all visitors that frequent the administration office. You must identify customer needs, meet their expectations and effectively handle any difficult queries and requests. By doing so you'll continuously contribute to enhancing the quality of service delivered both internally and externally.

Key accountabilities -

  • Promptly answer all incoming telephone enquiries;
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, community and staff;
  • Distribution of all mail, courier deliveries, facsimiles, etc;
  • Assist with daily banking if required;
  • Petty cash management if required;
  • Process stationery, supply, printing, business cards if required;
  • Maintenance of reception phone contacts if required;
  • Providing open, honest communication in response to all telephone enquiries;
  • Updating of internal telephone directory if required;
  • Administration assistance as required;
  • VIC Pass processing;
  • Oversee visitor pass sign ins;
  • Maintenance of address book if required;
  • Understand, work within and contribute to the development of Company policies and procedures;
  • Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;
  • Contribute to a safe, healthy and fair place of work;
  • Comply with the WHS Responsibilities Guidelines;
  • Comply with the Environmental Responsibility Procedure

The candidate -

It is essential that you are an immaculately presented, highly polished corporate receptionist. You will have a proven track record working in a reception role and possess excellent communication skills and a genuine interest to assist those who visit or phone the office. An energetic, flexible and ‘can do’ approach is also essential for this role. Proficient keyboard skills and a competent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is desirable.
