About the Role

Seeking Full Time Customer Service professionals, with experience in dealing with high volume inbound phone queries to join my Government client's team. You will be answering inbound calls in a busy contact centre environment. This role will be based in Melbourne CBD. This role is on Fixed Term Contract basis for 2 years, with possible extension. Days of work will be Monday through to Friday. Hours will be on a roster basis within the opening hours of 0800-1800. The successful candidates will start ASAP in May 2018. It is preferred that you do not require time off within your first 3 months due to training requirements.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive high end customer service over the phone via inbound and outbound (follow up) calls
  • Deal with general enquiries; bookings and follow-ups
  • Manage the whole booking process from request to completion, matching up available services to each requesting client, and complete any associated administration
  • Striving to find solutions in any event where a request can not be facilitated
  • Make recommendations for any areas of improvement
  • Communicate and interact with the team across the site
  • Processing applications and basic data entry
  • Abide by professional policies and procedures in place
  • Assisting any other parts of the business as requested



Skills & Experience

  • Approximately 3 years minimum experience from a Contact Centre environment is desirable but not essential
  • Industry experience within Government is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to consistently provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities
  • A great attitude and willingness to help on every interaction
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge quickly and effectively
