Randstad are working closely with a reputable client within the building and construction industry who are seeking a Supply and Install Officer working within the Customer Service team.

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients, customers and builders and will assure requested products are received in full and installed on time and to standard.

Working within a team environment and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality service. You will have high communication skills and be able to liaise with contractors, builders, account managers, warehouse managers and staff.

You will have excellent computer skills as this role will encompass a high level of administration duties, mathematical ability and attention to detail.

In order to be successful you will possess:

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Strong administration experience.
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Ability to read draft plans
  • Confidence in negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Priority-setting and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Testing will be required).

Duties will include:

  • Supporting customers via phone and email.
  • Process vendor payments and monitor jobs.
  • Invoicing clients (SAP).
  • Ensure all products are received and installed in full and on time.
  • Maintain the installer schedules
  • Conduct customer measure and quotes (mathematical ability required).
  • Conduct customer credit history checks.
  • Ad- hoc general administrative tasks.

This position would suit a customer service focused individual with strong administration experience and ability to read and calculate areas of floor plans and understand drawings.
