Our client

Our client is a leading Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider that is seeking the right person with the right skills to step into a Customer Service Supervisor role.

This role would ideally suit someone that has a number of years experience in a Customer Service role or someone that has come from a Key Account Management position within the Freight Forwarding Industry

Your new role

Working alongside the Branch Manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities. You will oversee the day to day customer service, administrative and key account functions of the business as well as providing additional supervisory tasks where required ensuring smooth sailing of the business.

You will need to care about the details, will go above and beyond to deliver for Clients & Customers and you are happy to keep Customer Service as your priority of service. You love to be busy, always and pride yourself on using your initiative.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Customer Service team and providing support and guidance
  • Supervising workflow
  • Account Managing 1 Key Account
  • Liasing with internal departments
  • Provide technical advice
  • Mentoring and training of the Customer Service team
  • Account Managing 1 Key Account
  • You will implement and revise customer expectations and requirements
  • KPI tracking and reporting

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Freight Forwarding Customer Service and/or Key Account Management role
  • 5+ years experience
  • Strong customer service focus and building effective relationships
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to work under limited supervision with exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Advanced Excel, Word & Powerpoint skills would be preferred
  • Resourceful and proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Professional approach, good judgment, creative problem-solver.
