Leading Australian FMCG Company based in Macquarie Park requires a Level 2 Desktop Support Analyst for an initial 3 month plus contract to move to permanent later in the year.

The role of a Level 2 Desktop Support Analyst is to provide support via face to face, phone, email and remote access for their internal client. You will be responsible for responding to initial requests and resolving if possible.

On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Level 2 technical support via face to face, email and phone in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Help roll out Window XP and 7 to over 2000 users
  • Responding to a wide range of software and hardware issues, in-house systems, products and services queries.
  • Quickly identifying and troubleshooting issues including Microsoft application, web, email, computer networking issues in a timely fashion.
  • Logging faults via ITIL ticketing system.
  • Take on average of 15 - 25 calls per day.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Deployed Window’s applications via SCCM - Essential
  • Solid customer service skills and troubleshooting experience.
  • Have worked with Windows 7 or 8.1.
  • Strong Microsoft skills.
  • Have worked with VoIP
  • Exchange 2010
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Clear, concise and polite phone manner.

An excellent daily rate is on offer for the successful candidate.

Public transport consisting of buses and trains is a 5 – 8 minute walk away.
