Randstad Technologies is partnering with one of their long standing not-for-profit clients to successfully identify an experienced Level 1/Level 2 Desktop Support Analyst who will be able to assist in the productivity of the Information and Technology Services Team. The successful incumbent will be required to work closely with the ITS team to achieve positive results.

To be successful in this role, you will have 2 years + working in Desktop Support roles. The successful incumbent will be a collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide 1st – 2nd Level support for the organisational hardware/software fleet including face-to-face support for system users, for all faults, queries and IT-related issues
  • Network support – defect analysis, user definition, telephony services
  • Ensure all relevant IT hardware and software inventory records updated whenever appropriate, such as the asset register, sit address information etc.
  • Process moves, additions and changes of user accounts and information for the Networking Operating System, the email system and specific business applications
  • Handle preventative maintenance such as checking peripherals, printers, desktops, laptops and mobile devices
  • Engage in equipment purchases and facilities build outs

Key skills required include:

  • 2 + years experience in a similar role
  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office 365 eco-system including Sharepoint, Azure
  • Active Directory Administration Experience
  • System administration and security experience
  • Exchange administration experience with builds/rebuilds of workstations
  • VOIP and PABX

Desirable Skills:

  • ITIL knowledge
  • Exposure to TechnologyOne ERP
  • Experience using Skype
  • Mimecast
