job description

As an experience Development Compliance officer you will proactively audit approved developments within the local council area. The Development Compliance officer is responsible for undertaking investigations and compliance actions relating to the development and environmental matter of the local government area.

Responsibilities

  • Investigation and resolve development related complaints
  • Provide responsive and detailed technical advice
  • Investigate complaints associated with environmental matters
  • Established, implement and monitor councils extractive industry inspection program
  • Manage client expectations in relation to enquires and complaints

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Planning/Building Certification or equivalent
  • Experience in planning or building surveying
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking investigations
