The centre

A modern purpose built centre with a strong connection to outdoor learning and the environment, that is conveniently located in a residential area. Catering for children aged 0 to 5 years old, the centre has a great reputation and a real community feel.

The role:

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced, strong director to create a culture, build, mentor and develop an already established and strong team of educators. With admin support, the role is low contact and all about building strong relationships with the staff, children and families that value the centre service greatly.

If you have a background in childcare as well as human resources / staff management, this is an exciting contract to see you through Darwin's dry season! Enjoy beautiful weather in a beautiful centre!

Qualifications & Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching approved by ACECQA
  • Hold a current and valid ochre card
  • Provide visible leadership, direction and issue resolution at all levels
  • A track record of developing and motivating a team
  • Ability to build relationships with staff and families
  • Have strong interpersonal communication skills
