Randstad Education are seeking a highly motivated and professional Centre Director to join the team for a 55 place Not-For-Proft Early Learning Centre.

This day care centre cares for children aged 0-school years and recognise that there are a variety of different routines for their families meaning that they are open between 7.30am – 6.00 pm, Monday – Friday.

The centre is easily accessible on the south side close to public transport links and free parking.

You will be required to lead an experienced team and be a passionate service Director, ready and willing to provide strong assistance to the Room Leaders working within the requirements of the National Quality Standard and the approved Learning Framework facilitating play based learning.

Delivering high quality care and education you will develop excellent relationships with both the children and their families.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education or Bachelor in Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent
  • Approved first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Approved child protection qualifications
  • Solid experience as a Service Director
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework inclusive of the EYLF with proven results.
  • A dynamic personality, creativity and a clear passion for Early Learning
  • Commitment to excellence in Early Learning and Child Wellbeing

Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience as a Centre Director or Assisting Director
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative and being able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
