job description

We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher for a small centre in the St George area of Sydney. The role is for 37.5 hours a week.

About the centre

The director describes the centre as family orientated. She sees the centre as a home away from home where everyone is treated like family and they let kids be kids. The centre provides children with the opportunity to learn while they imagine and explore and the educators focus on building on the children’s qualities and attributes. They have a multicultural approach to play which emphasises building relationships and collaboration throughout all activities.

About the role

The centre is looking for an ECT to work in the preschool room. You will build lasting relationships with the team, the children, and the families. You’ll plan and organise the curriculum, organise activities and keep record of the children’s progress. You will ensure you include topics that teach the children to respect people from different cultures and backgrounds.
