Working for a renowned services provider you will be working in a challenging and exciting environment while they go through significant change.

Reporting into the workplace relations manager, the primary role of the Project Manager is to ensure the successful delivery of EBA projects as assigned including monitoring and reporting and the provision of advice to senior management and key stakeholders. The Project Manager will bring significant project management capability and Workplace Relations expertise to the Project.

Your main focus will be :

  • Manage EA project including preparing project briefs, maintaining a project management plan, implementation planning, project schedules, risk management plans and any other relevant project
  • Provide leadership on matters of project governance, planning and implementation.
  • Establish and maintain clear lines of communication and reporting processes with project stakeholders, members and senior management.
  • Develop key strategies and processes for the monitoring, reporting, auditing, quality control, and delivery of project outcomes.
  • Monitor the progress and promote and monitor quality assurance activities to ensure the appropriate quality of outcomes and deliverable are met.
  • Actively identify emerging pressures, possible issues, initiate risk mitigation, and recommend resolutions.

To be successful for this position it is preferred to be immediately available but also:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple and/or complex projects and an understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to obtain effective cooperation and contribution from stakeholders and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial resources
  • Experience working within a volunteer environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management AND Industrial Relations or equivalent (desirable)
