We’re on the hunt for an amazing Annual Report Coordinator to join a fantastic communications team at a Government department located in Canberra.

You will be starting this role ASAP on a non-ongoing basis at an EL1 level.

So, what do we need from you?

You must be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Have previous experience as an Annual Report Writer
  • Be ready to hit the ground running
  • Speak directly with clients if needed
  • Be able to present work as soon as it is needed
  • Have strategic thinking and effective communication
  • Be able to problem solve quickly and effectively and achieve results
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Hold a degree or certificate in a relevant field of study
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly and efficiently
  • Be willing and able to obtain a Police Check
  • Be willing and able to obtain a security clearance as needed
  • Meet Work Health and Safety standards

What you’ll be working on:

  • Manage the planning and project management of the department’s Annual Report
  • Coordinate input from various teams working to a fixed timeline and using an online CMS
  • Work closely with the editor for editing and writing consistency and with the performance team on reporting agency performance
  • Work closely with internal graphic design team to ensure production of quality content
  • Undertake quality checking to ensure reports meet agency and Australian Government guidelines and requirements
  • Assist with Planning, delivering and evaluating high quality communication strategies and activities by working on other projects managed by the Strategic Communications team
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordination of procurement, budget and administrative matters
