These new roles can offer you a step into a stable international organisation with a plethora of interesting and varied technical projects across a diverse range of stakeholders. They are leaders in technology, design/ build and service of a diverse range of automation, brakes and other rolling stock parts.

Therefore we require exceptional communication skills and understanding of automation technology within rail or door or lift industries.

There are two roles. 1. Platform Screen Doors Electrical T& C Manager. 2. Platform Screen Doors Installation Coordination Engineer

The main purpose for this role is to effectively manage the technical aspects and provide support to the Installation Manager onsite to ensure that subcontractors are adhering to the contractual obligations/constraints/ requirements

Responsibilities include:

  • Electric / Electronic advice to all of the Project team members with their products
  • Technical Lead from start to finish of the project
  • Attend, lead and contribute to projects by establishing a credible stakeholder relationship with all parties including customers.
  • Reporting and documentation of projects
  • Add value to the design and development of engineering products to the rail industry.

This is an exciting role that an experienced ‘up and coming’ Electrical Engineer with automation experience can progress their experience in the rail industry.

Some of the selection criteria include

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in rail; or related experience with doors or lift technology
  • Demonstrate ability to manage a strategic project with multi-disciplined nature;
  • Possess current or able to secure Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI) qualifications;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Conflict resolution skills;
  • Display strong analytical ability;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence; and
  • Familiarity with CAD software, MS Office Suite and Project.
