My client is looking for an experienced ER Specialist to join their organisation, based in Penrith. Reporting to the ER Manager, and working within a small team, your mandate with be to provide support and consultative advice to Managers and HR Business Partners on ER matters.

In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Being the first point of contact for complex ER related issues
  • Providing assistance with investigations as necessary
  • Providing advice and guidance on complex performance management issues and grievances, and how to prepare a PDP
  • Assistance and advising in policy and procedure updates
  • Involvement in other people initiatives as needed

To be successful in this role you will have experience within a employee relations specialist role, where you will have led a variety of grievance and underperformance meetings (through to termination as necessary). You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and liaise effectively across all levels of the organisation. You will also possess a positive attitude, along with resilience and confidence. NB: This could be an ideal role for a Generalist with strong ER to transition into a Specialist ER position.
