Randstad is a leading international recruitment agency that is constantly seeking exceptional Executive Assistants/Personal Assistants especially within the banking and financial services space including superannuation and investment. We are calling for experienced Executive Assistants/Personal Assistants who are on the hunt for either temporary or permanent work. We are recruiting across various locations in Sydney, including the CBD, Parramatta and North Sydney.

  • Temporary salary range $35 - $45 per hour
  • Permanent salary range $65K – $110K

The role

The broad function of this role is to provide high level of administrative and organisational support to help manage and prioritise time for a busy senior colleague as well as contributing towards the achievement of the business.

Your key capabilities will be:

  • Manage output, workflow and office deadlines.
  • Book travel arrangements both international and domestic
  • Diary management
  • Arrange and manage meeting for other senior managers
  • Manage catering and other requirements on the day (and dinner reservations)
  • Write and manage correspondence
  • Prepare documentation and agendas for Board Meetings and write meeting minutes
  • Answer and direct general phone calls - occasional reception cover
  • Occasional errands to be ran out of the office.
  • Order office supplies e.g. stationery, kitchen supplies, milk and refreshments;
  • Maintain adequate filing systems on company drives

The Candidate

Successful candidates must satisfy the following:

  • Experience within banking & financial services as an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant
  • High degree of typing and administration accuracy under pressure
  • Strong administration skills
  • Possess the ability to be able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience providing quality customer service
  • Ability to be pro-active and able to work autonomously under limited direction
  • A sense of urgency and flexibility, strong organisation/time management skills to handle a number of tasks at any given time
  • Broad understanding of office procedures
  • A can do attitude with enthusiasm and energy
