The Role

You will be responsible for leading a team of Field Services Technicians in a hands-on capacity, taking ownership of any escalations, and providing an advance level of support across networls / systems and infrastructure across multiple sites around Victoria / Melbourne.

Travel is required for the role, and you will possess an open Australian Drivers License. You will also be on-call on a roster (roughly 1 in every 10 weeks)

The technical environment is predominately Microsoft / Windows (Windows Servers, O365, env.), with infrastructure and systems hosted on AWS cloud. There are a number of bespoke systems that are specific to the industry and organisation that you will learn and take ownership of, becoming a source of knowledge and guidance for the team.

Experience and Qualifications

  • You will have experience leading a small team of IT support staff (Service Desk Support / System Administrators and Engineers)
  • You will have experience working and managing a team supporting mulitple sites
  • You will have a strong experience troubleshooting and supporting IT issues (Anything from Systems through to Cabling / Networking, Printers, local server issues, and more)
  • A demonstratable ability to pick-up new and bespoke systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft / Windows Systems and Servers, as well as O365

In addition to the above, you will possess a Bachelor Degree in IT or the equivalent, as well as relevent certifications (ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, etc.)
