The Role

Through the provision of quality financial planning advice, you will have the opportunity to assist both new and existing clients achieve their lifestlye and financial goals. In addition, you will identify financial planning opportunities for other members of the planning team and proactively seek referrals to bankers. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position
  • Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date
  • Prospecting – source client set from referrals by referral partners, build relationship with referral partners, coach and educate bankers on financial planning process
  • Deliver the Lifestyle Financial Planning Process – analyse client needs, develop and deliver appropriate planning strategies and product solutions, prepare quality, compliant Statements of Advice, implement agreed recommendations
  • Ongoing service and review – delivery of ongoing client service package
  • Personal development – attend technical training courses and skilling sessions to develop and maintain competency and meet continuing education requirements
  • Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements.

About You

Reporting into the Regional Manager, you will have gained solid and extensive experience in client facing roles in Financial Planning and will be a dedicated and driven go-getter. A vibrant personality in addition to the below requirements would see you a great employee:

  • Ambitious and looking for a role with responsibility, autonomy and challenges
  • Completion of the Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) modules 1 – 4, RG146 compliant
  • Completion of the Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) modules 5 – 8
  • Detailed knowledge of risk & compliance
  • Up to date knowledge of Australian and Global financial markets
  • Up to date knowledge of financial modelling and tools.
