French Speaking Primary Teacher


Unique opportunity available for a fluent French speaking Primary Teacher for an initial six month contract in Maroubra in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Applications are welcome from fluent French speakers who are able to deliver the French curriculum to Stage 1 classes. Attending a school in Australia that follows the French system gives students the opportunity to gain an education in two languages in a multicultural atmosphere. The international atmosphere at the school encourages openness of mind and a cultural tolerance supported by the diversity of nationalities and languages of the students.

Current Roles:

  • Full-time - Stage 1
  • Initial six month contract - with opportunity to be extended
  • Position to cover long service leave until the end of the academic year with potential for extension
  • Applications welcome from non-specialists for future opportunities in the area

The School:

The school offers students the opportunity to follow the French curriculum and school calendar with include curriculum requirements from trh Australian government such as Australian culture, language and history.

The Successful Teacher Will:

  • Appropriate Teaching Qualifications
  • NESA Accreditation
  • Experience in Teaching French Curriculum
  • Fluent French Speaker
  • Valid Working With Children Check
